A Reticle can be changed only to another one that is within its group.
These are the groups:
① CH, Dot, Di-plex
② MTR-1, MTR-2, MTR-3, MTR-4, MTR-5, MTR-FT, MML, MTR-D2, MTR-D3
③ FD-1, FD-D2
Deon / March doesn’t change the reticle of the scope to a reticle of a different group ( IE: from crosshair type reticles to MTR type reticles ) due to the difference of the inner structure of the scope.
Reticles can not be changed for FFP scopes.
An illuminated reticle can not be put into a non-illuminated scope.
A non illuminated reticle can not be put into an illuminated scope.
The shipping to Japan with $ 1,000.00 insurance, we would estimate to be between $100 and $150.00 Canadian ( it is difficult to get an exact quote from the post office ). We are not sure what the shipping back from Japan will cost, I suspect it will be similar.
There are a couple of wrinkles you should know about before proceeding.
The post office will only insure international parcels for loss at a maximum of $1,000.00. So there is a risk there that you will have to assume unless you can get some third party insurance.
You can check your home or business insurance, sometimes there is coverage for goods being shipped.
Should someone wishes to proceed with a reticle change please first check for the latest update on shipping from Japan.
