The shipping to Japan with $ 1,000.00 insurance, I would estimate to be between $100 and $150.00 Canadian. ( It is difficult to get an exact quote from the post office )
There are a couple of wrinkles you should know about before proceeding. The post office will only insure international parcels for loss at a maximum of $1,000.00. So there is a risk there that you will have to assume unless you can get some third party insurance. You can check your home or business insurance, sometimes there is coverage for goods being shipped.
The other temporary issue due to covid constraints; when I checked on December 3, 2020; the postal service is not shipping from Japan to Canada. I talked to March/ Deon in Japan about the issue and they said that their only lower priced option is to ship returned items by sea and it takes about 2 months to return to Canada.
Should someone wish to proceed please first check for the latest up date on shipping from Japan. You can talk directly to March/Deon about your return shipping options by emailing directly to March Scopes Japan at : firstname.lastname@example.org
